I tried a new recipe yesterday. I wanted to try it because I tend to make the same five or six varieties of soup over and over and the recipe I found looked so different from anything I usually make. Within ten minutes of the cauliflower roasting in the oven the aromas spreading through the house were incredible. Robert and Wills started to hover at the kitchen door in anticipation.
I did take photographs and during the coming week I do intend to put together a post to tell you all about it. This is why I just love trying new recipes. A lot of them are ok-ish but truthfully, I would not mind if I never tried again. Other recipes are so good, you just know that you will want to try it again and again and again. Next time I go to the shops I am going to be filling up the trolley with cauliflower so I can make a large pan of soup and top of our freezer supplies of home made soups.
Best soup in the world – it has chicken in it?

No chicken I am afraid Jacob – roasted cauliflower, garlic and cumin. Robert said it is better than any chicken soup.
