Boschendal Sauvignon Blanc

Boschendal Sauvignon Blanc

I am always pleased when my nephew goes to the local Tesco grocery store and brings back some flowers or a bottle of wine as a way of saying thank you for the domestic services he is provided with while living under our roof. Wills has recently gone back to his parent’s home to spend the rest of summer with his family. We are very much hoping he will return in the autumn.

On one of his trips to the supermarket, he picked up the lively and refreshing Boschendal Sauvignon Blanc. I enjoyed this wine. although there were distinctive tropical notes, it was not too sweet (you may know by know I prefer a crisp white wine) and I found it very easy to drink too much of this because I was enjoying it so much. Robert will testify that I had rather an achy head after I finished off this bottle which we shared over supper. Well, Wills would normally share a bottle with us, I forgot that the two of us find sharing a whole bottle too much on a week night when we have to wake up early for work the next day.

If you like a refreshing lively white wine which has a pleasant aftertaste, here is a wine for you.
