ABOUT LADY LEWIS

…what Lady A. Lewis thinks about it…

Welcome to my dinner party blog!

Throughout the Pandemic, I was seriously missing having dinner with friends due to social distancing. (But it was all for an important reason.) So I thought I would bring a dinner party to WordPress.

I have been sharing recipes that are always a big hit with family and guests. There has also been a variety of drinks on offer and a wide range of music. New to 2023 are our book recommendations – our chance to share the work of writers we have a personal connection to or have discovered are publishing on WordPress. I would love to hear from you about your favourite recipes, tipples, music and books. The more the merrier!

I have organized my site into menus – which hopefully makes it all much easier to navigate. Enjoy the widgets, which will introduce you to more of the fun we have had on WordPress over the past couple of years.

To help you explore previous posts on this site, I have been regularly updating the menus. But more recently, I have started with a monthly summary to share posts and personal events. Below you can find the series “The Month That Was…”

THE MONTH THAT WAS…ORANGE OCTOBER

THE MONTH THAT WAS…SURPRISINGLY SUMMERY SEPTEMBER

THE MONTH THAT WAS…ANNIVERSARY AUGUST

THE MONTH THAT WAS…WIMBLEDON JULY

THE MONTH THAN WAS…JOYFUL JUNE

THE MONTH THAT WAS…ROYAL MAY

THE MONTH THAT WAS…APRIL SHOWERS

  1. Hello!

Adam from Carrot Tops Allotment here!

I’m reaching out in a professional capacity, to see if you would you like to collaborate with WordPress.com?

I’ve reached out via the contact form and email, but alas, I’m not sure if they’ve gotten through ok.

If this is of interest, would it be ok to reach out via email?

    (Keeping my fingers crossed!)

    1. Hello Adam, my apologies for the delay in replying. Robert and I picked up Covid and we have spent almost three weeks either very poorly indeed or this past week, with our energy returned but still unable to shift hacking coughs. We have been feeling rather sorry for ourselves. I have just read your email. It sounds very interesting. I do have some questions, and I will reply to you during the course of this morning.
