Les Collines de Luzanet – Cotes De Gascogne

Les Collines de Luzanet – Cotes De Gascogne

Is it because it is March and almost officially spring that I was tempted by white wine? This sauvignon blanc was refreshingly fresh a winter of red wine and liqueurs. It was everything I was longing for and more – bright citrus lime with a faint floral edge to it. I was very pleased.

In my efforts to prepare for spring, I am going to be seeking out more salad recipes and matching them with crisp white wines. With all the normal highlights of winter – family gatherings, dinner parties and cottage holidays – stripped from us, we are eagerly looking forward to spring and summer.

It is great to start spring with a perfect sauvignon blanc.
